George Na'ope Hula Festival WEEKEND
Arts & Crafts Vendors Requirements & Regulations
An Indoor Accessible Crafters Venue
1. Vendor agrees to abide by all requirements and regulations set forth by The Makanaaloha Group, it's committee members, Modesto Centre Plaza and
the City of Modesto. Failure to adhere to the requirements and regulations may result in the closure of your booth and forfeiture of all fees
paid to The Makanaaloha Group and future participation in any of our events.
2. All fees must be received by July 15, 2010 in the form of cashiers check, money order, along with your completed Vendor Application. Your
application fee will not be processed until your Vendor Application has been approved. The booth fee for this event for Friday & Saturday is
$300.00. This booth fee will allow you an approximate 8'x10' area to set up in which includes one 8' table and 2 chairs. Extra tables are available
the additional cost of $25.00 for each table for the event. No sharing of both spaces will be allowed.
3. A Temporary Seller's Permit-BOE-442-ST REV.2 with the California State Board Of Equalization account number is required to be sent in with your
Vendor Application and booth fee.
4. You are responsible and liable for all taxes and financial records and reporting as a result of your participation at a Makanaaloha Group event.
The Makanaaloha Group and the George Na'ope Hula Festival will not be held liable for any damage or loss of property you bring to this event.
The set up time for you in the venue will be 8:00 am for set up on Friday 8/13/10. Please decorate your booth in the spirit of aloha and
have your booth open for business during festival hours. You are responsible for your booth set up and take down at the beginning and end of this
event.
5. You are responsible for the cleaning of your vending area. Please dispose of all trash and have chairs folded on top of your table.
6. You will be responsible for the security of all of your items. There will not be security available to secure the vending area at this time. The indoor
competition area and vendor area will be locked. We do recommend that you secure all of your items.
7. You may only sell items that have been previously approved on your vending application by Makanaaloha Committee. No exceptions.
8. Please consider helping with a prize(s) donation to The Makanaaloha Group. These prizes will be used
in our raffle. This is not required but very much appreciated. Mahalo!
