We are happy to announce our new host hotel for 2010 and forward, the Clarion Inn Conference Center.  The Double Tree Hotel rates have gone up to $109.00 and I didn't feel that the affordability level was sustainable.  In searching for a different hotel, I chose the Clarion Inn for many reasons.  The hotel is just 5 minutes north of the Modesto Centre Plaza with easy access on and off of Hwy 99.  The hotel is very family friendly and halau friendly with many areas for practice, large gathering areas with tables and chairs, outdoor BBQ, indoor atrium with beautiful indoor pool/spa, large outdoor pool area, and without hesitation, a great area for our kanikapila gathering on Saturday night!  The most exciting news of this hotel are the room rates I am able to offer to you.  The room rates for King or Double rooms are $59.00 per night!  This is a $50.00 savings per night with very nice accommodations.

The Clarion Inn offers a very nice restaurant, restaurant/lounge, and I was able to set up an American breakfast buffet for Thursday - Sunday.  The American breakfast buffet includes:  Scrambled eggs - bacon & sausage - country fried potatoes - toast - muffins - cereal - coffee, water, juice & milk.  The breakfast buffet we are able to offer to you at the price of $5.00 per person each day!  You will be able to add this cost to your room rate (per person) for each day if you wish when booking your stay here at the Clarion Inn online.  The restaurant will also offer its full menu if you choose to order different from the buffet.  I hope this helps your budgets as you prepare to come to the George Na'ope Kāne Hula Festival weekend.

The rooms blocked for this event will be available to book on March 1, 2010 by phone.  If you need assistance in your planning and booking rooms, don't hesitate to ask.  When booking your rooms by phone, ask for the hula festival rate, then you can also add the breakfast buffet cost per person, each day if you wish.  You will be given your breakfast buffet tickets during your check-in to the hotel.  Parking is free and all around the hotel property where you can park your vehicles near your room.

There are also many things to do near the Clarion Inn such as shopping at the Vintage Faire Mall which offers many different types of restaurants, major retail chain stores.  There are also restaurants within walking distance or short drive from the Clarion Inn.  There is also a large grocery outlet within a minute or so from the Clarion Inn as well.  We feel that you will truly enjoy your hotel experience and all of the "very near by" outlets that will make your stay at the Clarion Inn Conference Center fun and enjoyable.

FROM THE BAY AREA - Take I-580 East toward CA-24/Hayward-Stockton. Take I-205 East toward Tracy/Stockton. Merge onto I-5 North. Merge onto CA-120 East toward Manteca/Sonora. Merge onto CA-99 South toward Modesto/Fresno. Take the Briggsmore Ave. Carpenter Rd. exit.  Turn left at signal onto Briggsmore Ave.  Turn left on Sisk Road (second signal light as you cross over hwy 99 onto frontage rd.) and continue down to hotel.

FROM THE SACRAMENTO AIRPORT - Start out going south on Airport Boulevard. Merge onto I-5 South toward Sacramento/Yuba City. Merge onto CA-120 East toward Manteca/Sonora. Merge onto CA-99 South toward Modesto/Fresno.   Take the Briggsmore Ave. Carpenter Rd. exit.  Turn left at signal onto Briggsmore Ave.  Turn left on Sisk Road (second signal light as you cross over hwy 99 onto frontage rd.) and continue down to hotel.
 

FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT - Start out going East on Domestic Terminal toward Airport Exit. Turn left onto Airport Exit. Merge onto US-101 South toward San Jose. Merge onto CA-92 East toward Hayward. Turn slight left onto Foothill Boulevard/CA-238 North. Merge onto I-580 East toward Stockton. Take I-205 East toward Tracy/Stockton. Merge onto I-5 North. Merge onto CA-120 East toward Manteca/Sonora. FROM THE OAKLAND AIRPORT - Start out going Northeast on Airport Drive toward Neil Armstrong Way. Turn right on 98th Avenue. Merge onto I-880 South toward San Jose. Merge onto I-238 South toward I-580/Castro Valley/Stockton/Fresno. I-238 South becomes I-580 East. Take I-205 East toward Tracy/Stockton. Merge onto I-5 North. Merge onto CA-120 East toward Manteca/Sonora. Merge onto CA-99 South toward Modesto/Fresno. Take the Briggsmore Ave. Carpenter Rd. exit.  Turn left at signal onto Briggsmore Ave.  Turn left on Sisk Road (second signal light as you cross over hwy 99 onto frontage rd.) and continue down to hotel.

FROM THE SOUTH - Take CA-99 North toward Sacramento.  Turn right at signal onto Briggsmore Ave.  Immediately move to the left lane to turn left on Sisk Road.  Continue down to hotel on right hand side.

FROM THE NORTH - Take CA-99 South toward Modesto/Fresno.  Take the Briggsmore Ave. Carpenter Rd. exit.  Turn left at signal onto Briggsmore Ave.  Turn left on Sisk Road (second signal light as you cross over hwy 99 onto frontage rd.) and continue down to hotel.
